Meet the studio owner
Veronica Hughes received her PhD from the University of Florida in 2017, focusing primarily on cancer metastasis and therapeutic interventions. A lifelong artist in traditional media, she turned to digital art in order to facilitate the dissemination of scientific ideas and concepts.
STEAM visuals was created to merge her love of medicine and passion for art. She provides a service not provided by your typical graphic designer- you supply your scientific manuscript, and she will condense the major topics into a beautiful illustration that facilitates the reader's comprehension of your article.
Besides science and art, Veronica enjoys attempting to grow plants, building farmhouse style furniture, and receiving shoob memes.
